Let nothing disturb thee
This is from St. Teresa of Avila (1515-1582)
Spanish poet and nun
"Let nothing disturb thee,
Nothing affright thee;
All things are passing;
God never changeth."
God stays the same. Our human experience changes but God doesn't.
That's a comfort. Angel thoughts are always there to rescue us.
Please let us shift from fear and hopelessness to a world community of faith filled people. Believe in a higher power that will save us every moment of every day. Day is the unfoldment of good. There is no time. Yes, we need to be at a certain place at a certain time..and be diligent with our "time", but the emphasis needs to be on how much good are we expressing every hour. Are we looking for the good and desiring to be good?
