On Saturday, January 29th from 1-4pm, we had an amazing concert in Greenwich Village, New York at Le Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker Street.
I, Princess WOW!, was the main producer(and host), with help from my husband, Roland aka Prince POW WOW!, and Richard Barone( The Bongos). Maureen Shames, publicist to Sid Bernstein, legendary promoter who brought The Beatles to America, was a big help with promoting this inspired concert with a mission of raising awareness to the healing power of a genuine smile. Princess WOW! and The Smile Revolution Band played The Smile Revolution Song, Outer Child Band(10-11 yrs NEW), Roland Mousaa( Pete Seeger), Constance Hauman(world famous opera singer who sings pop songs now too), Deni Bonet( REM, Cyndi Lauper), Lisa Lowell (Bruce Springsteen and The Seeger Sessions and more), Miss Vickie, Mary Poppiins, Daniel Goodman, Jann Klose( Rosanne Cash, Pete Seeger etc), James Cannings, Thomas Wesley Stern( a new band from NYC), Such As Us and Candy John Carr( Donavon). Richard Barone could not perform due to a family emergency.
Joe Franklin, well known radio personality, was a big help in promoting our concert.
Princess WOW!'s costume was a gift from Lady Violette, fashion designer/writer.
