Endorsement from Dr. Stephen J.Johnson, Ph.D.

“I recently saw the movie, Eat, Pray, Love, and in one scene when Elizabeth Gilbert was sitting with the Shaman in Bali he told her to smile with her whole being and then went on to encourage her to even smile with her liver. The importance of smiling can fall by the wayside, unless we remember to do it. Princess WOW, you’re encouraging people to do it and you’re leading a movement that actually can revolutionize the world. A simple smile expresses love. It begins with the mouth and radiates from your whole being, including your liver.

Be nice

“Its nice to be beautiful but its more beautiful to be nice.”
Princess Wow!

“Yes, it’s pleasant to look good, but what’s most important is, is your thinking and therefore your speaking. Is it good?”
Princess Wow!

Smile Incessantly

This is from Ann Stevens, Thought for the Day.

We all know and remember a smiley person-someone whose heart seems to
radiate through their teeth. And when they do, notice how its almost
impossible not to smile back…unless you are feeling very, very grumpy! So,
if you don’t feel a smile coming on..why not do it anyway. Not only does it
transform your inner chemical production and create “happy hormones”, but when
people are at the other end of your smile, they smile back (well most do).
And if you really don’t feel like smiling genuinely at life, the universe and everybody-
fake it until you make it!

Pete Seeger

Pete Seeger said this recently to me when I asked him to talk about The Smile Revolution.
“The Agricultural Revolution took thousands of years,
The Industrial Revolution took hundreds of years,
The Information Revolution is taking decades, but if we use it
and use the brains God gave us, we may, this century see The Smile Revolution,
or the Rainbow Revolution or the Great Turning.”

Bill Keane

“A hug is a boomerang. You get it back right away.”

A smile is as well! Try it.

Some people say that if they see me not smiling, they don’t understand. Its about giving and receiving smiles. Sometimes, I need you to smile at ME, to remind me. We all need to awaken out of dark thinking at times.

Laura Moliter’s philosophy

Laura Moliter, spiritual healer, author, poet and singer/songwriter, www.beingfreenow.com,  sent this to me yesterday…

“I was discussing my philosophy on living with a friend of mine. He grabbed a quote off his desk and said he had just received this and thought it articulated what I believe about life. He was right. I loved it and wanted to share it with my Smile Revolution friends.”

“The master in the ART of living makes little distinction between
his work and his play,
his labor and his leisure,
his mind and his body,
his information and his recreation,
his love and his religion.
He hardly knows which is which.
He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does,
leaving others to decide whether
he is WORKING or playing.

To him he’s always doing both.”

–James Michener (excerpt from the Rules of the Red Rubber Ball by Kevin Carroll)

Chief Seattle

I found this from an e-mail I receive..this is the website.www.intenders.org.

Chief Seattle said,” My brother, I tell you true. If all who see the Earth as being poisoned would, instead, give more attention to seeing the Earth clean and vibrant, then, very soon, your Earth would be cleansed.

If all who see their nation’s leaders as misguided or uncaring would, instead, give more time to seeing themselves being represented by responsible, caring leaders who stand firm for the highest good of all, then, very soon, you would have good leadership.

If all who see their spouses or family members as troublesome or unloving would, instead, give more thought to seeing their loved ones as the shining children of God that they are, then, very soon, all challenged relationships would be renewed and love rekindled.

If all who see themselves as sick or poor or weak of heart or undeserving would, instead give more energy to seeing themselves as healthy, abundant, empowered, worthy. and lifted up, then, very soon, they would experience all of the good things that life has to offer.

Each problem, seen from the positive side, always turns into a blessing.

Each sorrow leads you to your joy.
Each doubt-to your knowing.
Each lack-to your abundance.
Each debt-to your freedom.
Each act of anger-to your love.
Each act of war-to your peace.
Each journey through darkness-into the light.”

I have abbreviated this..for the blog.

Behind every tear..there is a smile waiting to reveal itself…Mindy “Smile”

Joy, Love and Appreciation

“Joy, love and appreciation are powerful motivators. They are all feelings that humans experience around the heart. Joy is a feeling of pleasure or delight that arises from the heart. Positive feelings are what make life worth living.”

“Find Your Joy By Following Your Heart”, by Deborah Rozman

A Return to Love

“Love is what we were born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and the acceptance of love back into our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life.
Meaning doesn’t lie in THINGS. Meaning lies in us. When we attach value to things that aren’t love- the money. the car, the house, the prestige- we are loving things that can’t love us back. We are searching for meaning in the meaningless. Money, of itself, means nothing. Material things, of themselves, mean nothing. It’s not that they’re bad. It’s that they’re nothing.”
Marianne Williamson
from her book “A Return to Love”
